               OurCircleTime.Com works alongside parents and caregivers to give young children the opportunity to have fun while learning essential academic and social concepts in a relaxed setting.

               OurCircleTime.Com is the collaborative effort of my husband, Michael and I. We are the proud parents of two beautiful, unique and rambunctious little boys, Sammy and Liam.

               Michael is an advanced placement biology teacher and I am now a stay at home mom and formally an elementary school teacher. I maintain my credentials and have extensive training and experience in elementary education, early childhood education, the Open Court Reading and Phonics Program and The Spalding Program. I have taught in the public school system, in both California and Arizona.

               Both my husband and I had the privilege to teach abroad in Osaka, Japan. While in Japan, I taught Kindergarten and then became the professional development coordinator for an international pre-school and elementary school. Circle time was a wonderfully exciting start to the morning, energizing the students for their school day. I would typically have a few of my student’s parents join in the fun as well!

               Skip to the present, I felt that, although convenient at times, cartoons and television programs could eventually turn my children into zombies. The constant visual commotion of cartoons is somewhat over stimulating for young children. If I am going to have them watch a program, I want it to be consistently educational, interactive, fun, engaging and not a re-run! When I thought about how much fun all of my students had during circle time and of course how much they learned, I thought this could be a perfect project.

               We understand the never ending duties of busy parents. Making sure that everyone is clean, fed, safe and happy are top priorities. With all of the tasks to keep the home running smoothly, it’s a challenge to make time for many educational activities throughout the day.

               OurCircleTime.Com offers a dependable and enjoyable educational resource for your young children Monday through Friday.
